Oak Hills is one of our favorite venues to photograph in Northern Utah. It's located in Layton right next to the mountains so the mountain views are incredible! It is also near the site of the new Layton LDS temple. They have outdoor and indoor options available including a beautiful rustic barn, and an elegant ballroom space. The staff here is among the very best in the state.

Louland Falls

Louland Falls

Louland Falls in Parley's Canyon between Salt Lake City and Park City is an outdoor seasonal wedding venue that is open only May - October. The venue is surrounded by trees and rocky mountain ridges that give you a sense of the wonder of the Utah mountains. It's also located close enough to Salt Lake City and Park City to offer loads of different options of ways to celebrate before and after your wedding.

The Vineyards at Mt. Naomi Farms*

The Vineyards at Mount Naomi Farms is a new wedding venue located in Cache Valley, Utah and is owned and operated by Brenda. The outdoor ceremony site overlooks the Wellsville Mountains and is as picturesque as you could ever hope for! Add in the surrounding vineyards, rustic but elegant barn, and personalized service and you've found something special.

High Star Ranch

High Star Ranch

Just outside of Park City, Utah you'll find High Star Ranch, a wedding venue that is "rustic yet refined". High Star offers a mountain ranch vibe surrounded on one side by mountains and the other by a open pastures of horses. Along with an on-site coordinator, High Star Ranch also offers a rustic barn and a tree that grew large and strong in the perfect location to act as the backdrop to your ceremony.

Elegant and classic is the best way to describe the type of wedding that would be a perfect fit at the Thomas S. Monson Center in downtown Salt Lake City. Imagine an outdoor ceremony surrounded by incredible pillars and columns on a smaller and more intimate scale to the State Capitol Building. Indoor options are also available.

Located in the foothills of Salt Lake City, the Natural History Museum of Utah offers a modern and natural environment for a wedding venue. You'll find indoor spaces for your ceremony or reception, and also unique outdoor spaces to create incredible backdrops. One of our favorite locations for a ceremony here is the Land Terrace which features copper windows that offer incredible reflections of the mountains.

Millennial Falls*

Millennial Falls is an indoor/outdoor wedding venue based in Draper, close to Salt Lake City. The venue's grounds feature a waterfall, a garden, and lots of greenery. When you get married outside, their ceremony site is right in front of a waterfall. Inside you'll find large spacious rooms, stained glass, a balcony, views of the mountains, and beautiful lighting.

Eldredge Manor is an indoor/outdoor wedding venue based in Bountiful, just a few minute north of Salt Lake City. The historic venue's grounds feature a garden, and lots of greenery and trees. Their outdoor ceremony/reception space is a highlight! It's a gorgeous patio surrounded by trees and hanging bistro lights. The indoor space is a historic home filled with charm.

From the moment you walk in, you will feel like you are surrounded by good friends. They also have an outdoor garden space for ceremonies, along with an indoor option filled with natural light. You become their first priority from the time you inquire and they are with you every step of the way.

Located in Midway, Utah and surrounded by the most magical views of Mount Timpanogos, the Provo River, and a pond stocked with fish, River Bottoms Ranch is the perfect place to celebrate. There is a reason that River Bottoms Ranch has won the "Best of State" award for best wedding venue in Utah the past two years. The owners Janica and Jared Horner put their heart and soul into the details of the space and have created something special. At River Bottoms Ranch, LeAnne and the team treat you like you are a part of their family from the very first moment you inquire.

They have two different ballrooms available for your dinner and reception, and a ceremony site that overlooks the valley below. Lindsey and the team at Montage commit to only having one wedding occur on a given day to ensure that you have the experience you deserve. Did we mention that Montage has the largest spa in Utah?

Weddings here in the summer from June to September offer some incredible views of Mount Superior from their ceremony site! One of the biggest draws of the Alta Peruvian Lodge is that they are flexible with your planning and setup schedule. If you need extra time on the day of your wedding to get ready - you've got it, no extra fees required. Todd Collins will make sure you are taken care of.

Snowbasin Resort is nestled in Ogden Valley, Utah and offers two different lodges for your reception and dinner along with a beautiful outdoor deck with mountain views for ceremonies. Snowbasin has an excellent culinary team and is ranked 3rd in the world for ski area food and service. Our favorite part about Snowbasin is how many areas there are surrounding the resort for photographs. Trapper's Loop boasts one of a kind views!

With over 7,300 acres of land, Park City Mountain Resort is the largest ski and snowboard resort in the entire US. Their ceremony site at Alpine Meadows is at the base of a forested mountain side and offers an incredible backdrop. One of the raddest perks to Park City Mountain Resort is that after your ceremony, you and your guests will ride the Alpine Slide - wedding dress and all to your dinner/reception! If you are planning a ski trip around your wedding date, you can get not only discounted room rates, but also discounted rentals for guests.

With weddings at Solitude Mountain Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon, you not only get incredible backdrops as part of your experience, but you also get great service with Kate and the team at Solitude. Get married over a weekend and invite your guests to stay for a few nights to experience the spa, outdoor heated pools, rehearsal dinner, and brunch with mountain views. With nine different ceremony and reception locations available, you have choices to create the wedding you are dreaming of.

With fantastic service to allow you to relax on your wedding day, Stein Eriksen is a great option for a luxury wedding. Stein Eriksen features Park City's largest luxury ballroom with panoramic mountain views to fit intimate weddings or larger parties. Their bridal suites not only have stone fireplaces, BUT also decks with private hot tubs! Our favorite part though, are the views from the Flagstaff Mountain Deck that are gorgeous in any season!

The Foundry

The Foundry is co-run by the fantastic mother and daughter team Ashlee and Arlene. The Foundry is a new indoor only, full service wedding venue based out of South Weber right next to the mountains of Weber Canyon. By pulling together industrial elements such as metal railing and trim, open ceilings, cement floors, brick wall, and show-stopping Edison bulb chandeliers, the Foundry added some glamorous and very unique touches to the space.

Wadley Farms

Wadley Farms is a historic wedding venue and working farm, orchard and vineyard located in Lindon, Utah. There are two main areas at Wadley Farms that you can reserve for your wedding day - The Castle overlooking the vineyards and the historic Barn and Railroad Building surrounded by gardens. Both are equally breath-taking and you can't go wrong with either option. 

Talia Event Center

Talia Event Center in Clearfield, Utah is a modern and classic space owned by the Painter family of Talia and Nick, and Kris and Nan. Talia features mainly indoor space, but does have outdoor patio areas which are great for reception and dinner events. Inside Talia Event Center you will find twinkling lights in the ceiling of the entryway guiding you into two unique spaces available for your wedding day.

This is the Place Heritage Park

This is the Place Heritage Park features 11 different wedding venue options. If it's rustic, elegant, outdoor, or intimate they have you covered, especially if historic homes are your jam! The Garden Place and Pioneer Place are their two newest venues, along with a handful of historic homes to choose from. They also offer trains, wagon rides, and carriage rides for your send-off.

Cactus and Tropicals

Did anyone say GREENHOUSES! Cactus and Tropicals is one of our go-to indoor wedding venues. Getting married in the winter, but you want greenery and gardens? No worries, Cactus and Tropicals two venues are filled with plants, greenery, exotic trees and flowers all year long. The Draper location is our recommended option to check out!

Sleepy Ridge Weddings

Sleepy Ridge is located in Orem, Utah and is surrounded on the east side by some of the prettiest mountains in the state - including Mount Timpanogos. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Judy who is the Director of Weddings and Events, and the staff running Sleepy Ridge. Not only are the grounds gorgeous, but from the first email they receive from you, you become a top priority. Le Jardin

A warm indoor greenhouse with flowers and greenery in all seasons? Le Jardin has got your back. Their large indoor space offers courtyards, fountains, greenery and flowers. Their smaller space, The Chateau is a great option for smaller groups featuring a beautiful outdoor gazebo and indoor greenhouse garden.

White Shanty Venue

The White Shanty is an industrial barn style building filled with fascinating history at tons of natural light. They are located in Provo, Utah just a few blocks away from the Provo City Center Temple. Natalie, the owner at The White Shanty is so kind and welcoming. Their main focus at The White Shanty is making sure that you have choices to create your wedding the way you want it - with coordinator help, or as a do-it yourself space.

Knot and Pine

Natalie is the owner of Knot and Pine a full-service rustic and industrial barn wedding venue located in American Fork, Utah. They fill their calendar with a mix of elegant and also rustic weddings. Walking into Knot and Pine, you will be swept away by the high ceiling the iron details. In the past, the barn was used as a forge for bronzing metals and the doors were built by the original blacksmith. 

Utah State Capitol

The Utah State Capitol is one of the most classic and elegant wedding venues in Utah. Inside you will find breath-taking views in the Rotunda, and outside the different courtyards offer more space and views of the city. If a chapel is more of your vibe, the historic White Chapel across the street is a great place to hold a ceremony before moving over to the Rotunda and courtyards for the rest of your event.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

Are you looking for a super unique venue? Do you love animals and greenery? How about sharks? The Living Planet Aquarium may just be the place for you! Here you have the chance to exchange vows in front of sharks, turtles, and other marine life. Talk about a memorable experience. Add to that portraits in the atrium surrounded by birds, vine, and trees, and a view of the shark tank during your dinner and reception. Check out the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to see if they would be a good fit for you!

Walker Farms

Walker Farms is a new wedding venue in Lindon, Utah at the base of Mount Timpanogos. The owners of Walker Farms are Jill and Mike Jorgensen, while Stephanie and Christina will be there to help you design your perfect wedding day. Walker Farms is a wedding venue with time and intentionality put into its construction and design. The building itself is bright, beautiful, and filled with unique details and antiques.

Twenty and Creek

Completed in the summer of 2022, Twenty and Creek is one of Northern Utah's newest premier wedding venues. CEO Megan Bonham along with the help of the Fox Group have completely transformed the property into something wedding dreams are made of. It's located in Sandy, Utah close to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, and also near Salt Lake City. Twenty and Creek's bright, clean, and elegant space focuses its attention on making your wedding vision come to life.

The Rooftop in Lehi, Utah is a new venue in a prime location for weddings. The space has a ton of unique aspects and is designed in a modern industrial style. One of our favorite features is the ability for the venue to become indoors and outdoors all at once, which adds a fun atmosphere to your wedding day! Click to find out more.

La Caille

La Caille is a destination wedding location for Utah. It's located close to Salt Lake City, and is an easy drive from the SLC Airport. It's also close to Big Cottonwood Canyon which is filled with some of the best views that Utah has to offer. La Caille has indoor and outdoor options for your wedding ceremony and reception, and either is spectacular. Click to see if it's the right fit for you!

LOCATIONS TO ELOPE IN Utah

Dead Horse Point State Park

Dare we say it, but there aren't many views better in the whole state of Utah than those at Dead Horse Point State Park. Views similar to a miniature Grand Canyon will take your breath-away. The cost of a wedding permit is minimal and the reward is incredible! It's close enough to Arches National Park and Moab to make it an easy choice.

Arches National Park 

Moab is host to the some of the most incredible landscapes and features in Utah. Arches National Park is one of the most awe-inspiring locations on Earth. Imagine getting married underneath a towering geographical formation surrounded by never ending views. The wedding permit fees here are minimal.

The Church of Dirt

The Church of Dirt is a free public venue near Park City, Utah. Year-round there are benches and a wedding arch located at the space. The mountain views from the top are sweeping and back for a worthwhile backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Just sign the planner to reserve your date!

Bonneville Salt Flats

Couples fly into Utah from all across the country to have a destination wedding at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Most of the year the ground is dry and textured, while in the early spring you can sometimes get pools of reflective water on the surface. With mountains as a backdrop, this location is a no-brainer for a wedding ceremony.

Antelope Island State Park

Antelope Island is a fantastic place to get married at in the fall and early spring. The landscape of Antelope Island is part beach, part desert, and part out of this world rock formations! It's a great choice for a wedding ceremony in Davis County in northern Utah and the fees are minimal.
