The Moyes family are some of the kindest people that we have ever met, and they are a total blast to shoot with! If you need any proof of that, just see all the adorable props that they brought to their shoot! The Rudolph noses, reindeer antlers, and hot chocolate mugs were the perfect addition to make their session special. Even though the weather was cold, we all warmed up quickly from all the laughs and fun we had!
This was the second time that we’ve done a shoot with Sydney and Jevon. After looking back, we realized that we had done their pictures last time on Veteran’s Day, and this session was also on Veteran’s Day! It’s very fitting since Jevon is an airman with the Air Force. This time, we were able to include their adorable little son for a family Christmas session at the 5th floor in Ogden. We couldn’t get enough of this little kid! He didn’t fuss one bit, and then we noticed that his eyes were getting… very… heavy.
Everyone that surrounded us during Isaac’s Make-A-Wish event and this Tremonton family pictures session had a heart of gold, just like those fallen leaves, including Isaac himself. There was so much anticipation and excitement in the air while we waited for Make-A-Wish to reveal Isaac’s wish while his friends and family gathered around.
We loved shooting with this fun family. They all were such troopers during this session, even though it was so cold and they needed to wrap up in blankets in between shots. In fact, it had just snowed two days before the shoot, which we thought was going to be a bad thing. However, it made the pictures even more majestic with the snow-capped mountains in the backdrop of some of the pictures. We were so glad that we were able to do this shoot before the snow and cold really settled it!
Over the years, Amelia and her family have trusted us with their family pictures. Even back when we didn’t have fancy equipment or much experience, they entrusted us with capturing their moments. We’ve come a long way since then, and we had a total blast during this fall family photo session at Snowbasin! We always appreciate those that trust us as their photographers over and over.
This family session was filled with laughter, fun, and a melt your heart turtle song! We met Karlie years ago when we were looking to buy our first home, and have loved getting to know her ever since. When you look through their blog post, you just might find a few gems where you can see three-year-old Bode singing his turtle song!
Anyone who’s lucky enough to have grandparents alive at the same time they are knows how big of an impact they make on their life. Jessie’s grandparents are no different. In fact, they exceed the typical grandparent standards! Jessie’s grandma and grandpa are known to her family adoringly as Grandma and Poppy. We were so excited when they agreed to do a grandparents photoshoot with us!
While Dallin stood making monkey noises, a little boy riding in a backpack he was carrying shook a rattle with as much enthusiasm as he could muster. On his face he wore one of the most contagious smiles you have ever seen. He knew he was getting the twins, who were wearing the cutest matching outfits, to look at him.
Green! We love it when it’s green outside! You know, when the mountains look like they are straight out of Alaska in the summer? That is usually what we get during summertime Snowbasin family pictures, and this season with Brooke and Brandon Major and their family. They all showed up dressed up perfectly, which, when added to the location and the perfect light, was the cherry on top for these pictures.
The lady bug sat still, not moving a single muscle, on a leaf as Violet picked it up off the ground to show the camera. “Can we keep it?” Violet questioned her mom, Kylie, before we all hopped into our cars to drive to our last location for the session. Lady bugs are symbols of love and good luck in a lot of cultures and we think that both were on our side during the Christopherson’s family session.
