Even though the sun was shining, it felt like it was doing very little to warm everything around us. It felt as though the sun was a billion miles away (not just the 92 million miles it usually is (Dallin’s fun fact!)). Despite the cold, Shelby slowly walked up behind Quinten, her soon to be husband in the next month, so that they could see each other before their wedding day and share a first look. As Quinten turned around on cue to see Shelby, and in this moment, it didn’t feel cold anymore. The smiles from both Shelby and Quinten as they hugged each other would have made any passerby forget the temperature, and realize the love these two have for each other. Although there were definitely a lot of shivers during this Ogden Temple winter formal session, there were also a lot of laughs and smiles from ear to ear!
Maybe it was the thoughts of each other that kept both Shelby and Quinten on a positive note, or it could have been thoughts of the honeymoon at Disneyland where it is warm and magical. Whatever the methods used to help them battle the cold, it worked! As winter wedding veterans ourselves, we can now officially crown Shelby and Quinten a part of the exclusive group of couples who have had wedding photos taken in the cold. Even though we know these two won’t need it, we view it as a form of luck for your marriage to be strong and lasting if you have your photos taken when it’s freezing cold outside!
Shelby and Quinten, you guys are so awesome. We love how much you both care about each other! It made both of us smile as we edited your session. Also, thank you for being such tough cookies during this cold Ogden Temple winter formal session!! We’re excited for your big day in less than a month now!
