There wasn’t a dry eye in the Railroad Building as Kinsey and Tanner stood facing each other, ready to give their vows. As they looked into each other’s eyes, with their friends and family watching and anticipating, Tanner turned over a piece of paper that held his vows to Kinsey. He then read “Who would have thought that a high school crush would lead to this?” Anyone knowing Kinsey and Tanner’s story could not go without tearing up at the very moment Tanner said these words. These two were high school sweethearts, and have been waiting YEARS for this day. With an ongoing pandemic and every other crazy event happening in 2020, nothing could stop them from getting married during their Wadley Farms Summer Wedding. In the words of their officiant, Kinsey and Tanner were married “for richer or poorer, pandemic or zombie apocalypse.” Through the time we’ve spent getting to know Kinsey and Tanner, we are confident that nothing can keep them apart.
After the ceremony, there was no shortage of laughter with each other as well as friends and family. The cake, made by none other than Marcia from Sweet Cravings, served a double purpose. Not only was it to be a traditional, delicious cake, but it also served to be a wager. Their cake had multiple flavors and depending on the flavor of the piece of cake they cut, it meant cake smash, or no cake smash. As luck would have it for everyone in attendance, and themselves… the flavor they cut meant cake smash. As we always say, the couple that smashes the cake together, stays together!
Kinsey and Tanner! Thank you so much for allowing us to be your friends first and photographers second. We cannot tell you enough how much we’ve loved getting to know you and your story. Without further ado, here are our favorite images from your Wadley Farms summer wedding!
