Snowbasin Summer Engagement | Utah Wedding Photographers

Picture in your mind a field of bright yellow wildflowers, then look beyond those flowers and notice the lush mountain ranges in different shades of green. There’s a reason that couples choose to get married most frequently in the summer. One may be because it’s the most convenient for scheduling or for weather, but after photographing this Snowbasin summer engagement session we believe a large part of that reason is the beauty of the season. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect to showcase Brittiny and Jared and their love for each other. Some of the cutest moments came during the session when they walked hand in hand over uneven ground. The irregular ground made them hold onto each other so they wouldn’t trip, but also brought out a lot of laughs and allowed us to get some of our favorite candid shots! We could tell they cared for each other as they kept each other steady and smiled throughout.

Brittiny and Jared both grew up in Weber and Davis County and Jared went to Mound Fort during junior high, which is the same school that Jessie taught at for years (“Once a Bear, always a Bear!). Just over a year ago, Brittiny and Jared started dating after they met each other at work. At the time when they met Jared was actually Brittiny’s manager. What an awesome story that is! Not many people can say that they are going to marry their former boss. When they aren’t working, Jared spends his time training early each morning for his MMA fights. It’s hard for Brittiny to watch him fight, but she still supports him in doing something that he loves. These two also love to travel, and have been to some amazing places, such as Alaska. We knew they were awesome before we talked travel with them, but when Brittiny said she had been on an Alaskan cruise twice, we knew they had good taste!!
