“I don’t think they’re going to fit!” Anyone who has been to a Salt Lake City wedding at the LDS temple there knows of the iconic shot at the temple standing on one of the four staircases to get a big group picture. The group was so big, that people had to stand all of the way up at the top of the steps and we had to move everyone as close as possible to get everyone in the big group picture. This one picture perfectly describes the support for Breanna and Devin.
“I don’t think they’re going to fit!” Anyone who has been to a Salt Lake City wedding at the LDS temple there knows of the iconic shot at the temple standing on one of the four staircases to get a big group picture. We have done a few Salt Lake weddings at the temple (Laura & Xan, Marissa & Tory) and we have never seen this many family and friends at the temple to support someone getting married there. The group was so big, that people had to stand all of the way up at the top of the steps and we had to move everyone as close as possible to get everyone in the big group picture. This one picture perfectly describes the support for Breanna and Devin. You could tell that they have many wonderful and caring family members and friends that wanted to support them.
These two had family and friends that had come from across the globe, including Australia, Ireland, and all across North America. From the accents (we were told that Australians don’t have accents… AMERICANS DO!), to the clover lapel pin on Devin’s grandpa’s jacket, and even Breanna’s necklace from her late grandmother, family members proudly showed their heritage.
There were so many things that were unique about this wedding day besides the amount of family and friends attending from all over the globe for this Salt Lake City wedding. Breanna had stunning flowers for pictures around the temple that were made of wood! This was genius! No sore arms were created from carrying around a heavy bouquet all day long because the wood flowers were so light. We would recommend these flower from Rosy Lily Flowers to anyone! Breanna also had a bouquet of real flowers from Shanna, a family friend, that she used later on in the day that have to be mentioned for their beauty.
Devin and Breanna have a relationship where the both of them care and love each other deeply. Breanna is a self-proclaimed “Daddy’s Girl” and is not afraid to admit it. Her father spoke at the luncheon and said that in the past, Breanna would be dating a boy and would come home and complain about various things about that boy to her dad. However, he noted that he never heard one complaint from Breanna about Devin. Devin did admit that they had a few arguments the week of the wedding, but that it was only due to stress of the wedding quickly approaching.
The reception and ring ceremony were located in an LDS church building in West Valley. When we stepped into the gym where everything was going to take place that night, it had been transformed into a beautiful venue! Legacy Weddings and Events did an amazing job at decorating the gym. We loved how all of the pictures turned out for their ring ceremony and reception. We know that it has a large part to do with the décor.
Two neighbors of Breanna (or in their words, “sisters by geography”), Cristi and Carri, did an absolutely fantastic job with the reception. Everything ran so smooth and was organized so well that we think that if they haven’t ever thought about wedding planning… they should consider it! There was also a photo booth from A Day to Remember Reception and Event Rentals that everyone had so much fun with! It was pretty hilarious sometimes to see what props people were wearing as they exited the booth. This day really couldn’t have gone much better for these two.
Breanna and Devin, thank you so much for your friendship. The love that the both of you share really impressed us and showed everyone how true love should happen in a marriage. Both of us had so much fun serving you on your wedding day and give our best wishes to the both of you. We hope that these pictures will help you both remember this wonderful day years and decades from now. We love you guys!
