Oquirrh Mountain Temple and Gardner Village Wedding

“I can’t feel my face when I’m with you!” Megan belted out these lyrics as we walked to a location for portraits after she and Tyler had just been married. The temperature was in the 20s, however, there was enough of a breeze that with the wind chill, it was pushing the single digits, meaning that quite literally, no one could feel their faces! Despite the cold, there was no lack of smiles and laughing between Megan and Tyler and all of their friends and family throughout their Oquirrh Mountain Temple and Gardner Village wedding. 

Saying that Megan and Tyler are perfect for each other is an understatement. Megan’s dad told a story about how her entire life, Megan has been very competitive. Her dad said that he knew that Tyler was going to be a good fit for her when Tyler came over and played a game with their family, and unapologetically beat Megan at the game!

One of the sweetest things to witness between these two was their thoughtfulness towards each other. When we did their formal session, Megan surprised Tyler with a dog named Miles to add to their family. After that surprise, Tyler wanted to surprise Megan back by singing the song “More than Words” to Megan during their reception. The lyrics to the song are focused on showing how much you love someone rather than just putting it into words, which could not be a more appropriate song for Megan and Tyler. Right before it was time for Tyler’s planned surprise, Megan pulled us aside and told us that she had a surprise for Tyler and that she wanted to sing a song to him during their reception as well. It was so hard not to smile and spill the beans to her about Tyler’s upcoming surprise! Watching each of them sing their surprise songs to each other, one after another, is a moment we will never forget.

To top off the entertainment during their celebration, they even had the chance to use Tyler’s dad’s beautiful 1967 Cadillac as their getaway vehicle after their sparkler send-off. There was no shortage of details during their Oquirrh Mountain Temple and Gardner Village wedding.
