Ogden Valley Spring Mountain Engagement

Traveling is something that we love to do. We love going to a new place to see and explore. As much as we love going other places, Utah holds a special place in our hearts. The best thing about living in Utah is that there is such a variety of things to see, and the same location can look vastly different month to month. This year, we’ve had a crazy wet spring (the 2nd wettest on record)! We’ve literally had to watch the weather every hour to make sure that the rain will stay at bay for a photo session that we have later that day. Even during this session, the weather report changed multiple times during the week saying if it was going to rain or not during the day. We were so glad that the weather cooperated perfectly. The best part about the rain? We get gorgeous flowers and grand vistas that we normally do not get this time of year. When we scouted this location for Emily and Todd’s Ogden Valley spring mountain engagement session, our breath was taken away! We’ve done multiple sessions here, but the weather this spring just made this location even more epic! It had us thinking of Julie Andrews twirling with her hands outstretched in front of the Alps (you better believe that we were tempted to re-enact it!).

Todd and Emily were so fun to hang out with! When we first met with them, Todd instantly recognized the Star Wars décor at our home. Adding that with Emily’s love of music made us know that we’d get along great with them! These two met after their siblings set them up on a blind date (yay for blind dates)! We could tell that Emily and Todd complement each other perfectly and love spending time together. We don’t think there was a single moment that they weren’t smiling or laughing during this engagement session.
