Cache Valley and Utah State University Engagement Session

Cache Valley always has and always will hold a special place in our hearts. Dallin grew up in Cache Valley and both of us went to Utah State. It’s actually where we met on a blind date! So naturally, we were excited about this Cache Valley and Utah State University engagement session with Kaitlyn and Alex! Both Alex and Kaitlyn are attending Utah State. Kaitlyn is going into Mechanical Engineering, and Alex is going into computer science. We (especially Dallin) may be a little biased, but engineering (ESPECIALLY Mechanical Engineering) may be the best major at Utah State (for those who don’t know, Dallin has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering). Having their engagement session in Logan and at USU was the perfect location for Kaitlyn and Alex. It was the place where they met and spent a lot of the beginning of their relationship. 

If you ever get the chance to meet Kaitlyn and Alex, one of the first things that you may notice is their fun and happy personalities. We started out their session on Main Street in Logan and photographed them surrounded by the bustling Logan traffic (not IN traffic though, we still have safety measures that we keep!) Ironically enough, when we had our engagement session over ten years ago, we had our photos taken at a few of the locations that we went to with Kaitlyn and Alex, so it really was a walk down memory lane for us! 

We ended the session at Second Dam up Logan Canyon next to the Logan River and of course, took a trip to grab a few photos on campus near the “A” at Utah State. The “A” at the top of Old Main Hill is one of the most iconic places on campus and is lit up blue every time Utah State has a victory in sports!
