Sparklers, fireworks, streamers, flower petals, bubbles, a getaway car, or a bike! The options for a wedding grand exit are endless. We love when our brides and grooms decide to do a grand exit to end their wedding reception! Here are four reasons why you should definitely do a wedding exit!

1. More Pictures and it looks great in your Album!

The additional pictures that you get are one of the reasons why you should definitely do a wedding exit. These pictures will be different than any other images from your wedding day. The added elements of sparklers, flower petals, etc. that are used in a wedding exit add a different and more spontaneous form of fun and excitement. It’s also a perfect way to end your wedding album! Grand exit pictures end up being some of our couple’s favorite memories and images from their day.

2. An Official end or Getaway from your Reception

A grand wedding exit signifies the official end of a wedding reception and getaway for our brides and grooms. If you would like to leave your reception at a scheduled time, or need to leave at a certain time because of venue requirements, a grand exit is a great way to signal to guests that it is time to start saying their farewells.

3. It’s fun and Guests love to Participate!

One of the biggest reasons why you should definitely do a wedding exit is because they are a total blast! Exits are fun for our brides and grooms, and their guests! Exits are surrounded by excitement and anticipation. One of our favorite JD Bride and Groom memories happened during a sparkler exit. Our couple and their family and friends had a great time celebrating as they walked through the sparkler tunnel, so much so that when they got to the end and turned around to see that the sparklers were still lit, they asked enthusiastically if they could go again! Of course we said yes! Their excitement was so much fun to photograph!

4. What if you don’t want to end your Wedding Early? A faux Exit!

What if you want your reception to last longer than your wedding photography coverage time? Well, there’s still no reason not to do an exit! We can create a faux exit during your reception when your guests are socializing and partying on the dance floor. We’d just take our couple, some of their important guests and family outside and stage an exit. That way you still get the extra pictures, and the awesome experience! No one would know any differently! Afterward you could rejoin your reception and guests while we take off for the night.

There are so many reasons why you should definitely do a wedding exit! They are so fun for our brides and grooms, and their guests and create some of the best images and memories. Keep an eye out for a blog post coming soon packed with ideas for different ways to do your wedding exit!
