A grand wedding exit signifies the official end of a wedding reception and getaway for our brides and grooms. If you would like to leave your reception at a scheduled time, or need to leave at a certain time because of venue requirements, a grand exit is a great way to signal to guests that it is time to start saying their farewells.
One of the biggest reasons why you should definitely do a wedding exit is because they are a total blast! Exits are fun for our brides and grooms, and their guests! Exits are surrounded by excitement and anticipation. One of our favorite JD Bride and Groom memories happened during a sparkler exit. Our couple and their family and friends had a great time celebrating as they walked through the sparkler tunnel, so much so that when they got to the end and turned around to see that the sparklers were still lit, they asked enthusiastically if they could go again! Of course we said yes! Their excitement was so much fun to photograph!
What if you want your reception to last longer than your wedding photography coverage time? Well, there’s still no reason not to do an exit! We can create a faux exit during your reception when your guests are socializing and partying on the dance floor. We’d just take our couple, some of their important guests and family outside and stage an exit. That way you still get the extra pictures, and the awesome experience! No one would know any differently! Afterward you could rejoin your reception and guests while we take off for the night.
