Bountiful Temple Wedding and Joseph Smith Memorial Reception

In this day and age, true, pure kindness is a rare thing. This is the type of kindness when a person goes completely out of their way to make sure someone is not only just okay, but is thriving and truly happy. When you find people that act like this, it’s not only touching, but refreshing and makes us hopeful for the future. If we were to think of every moment that we spent with Morgan and Josh during their Bountiful Temple wedding and Joseph Smith Memorial reception, the word that most definitely comes to mind is kindness. 

As wedding photographers, we sometimes get so excited about shooting, that many times, we don’t focus on our own needs during the day. One example of this is food. We definitely try and schedule time to hurriedly scarf down something to keep us going throughout the day, but sometimes it’s hard to remember to do so until after the night is through. A simple act of kindness that spoke so loudly to us during Morgan and Josh’s wedding day, is when they offered us a cooler full of food to have between their temple ceremony and their reception. They were not having a formal luncheon, so they wanted to make sure that we were taken care of. We feel like this simple act shows so much about these two and their ability to help others so perfectly. We don’t know if we’ve ever had such good food in our car before!

The rings that Morgan and Josh chose literally fit together almost perfectly. It’s a perfect symbol of the two of them fitting so well together. They both also go the extra mile to make sure others feel like they have a place to “fit in” as so many of their guests could feel. Even Morgan’s parents and grandfather were giving a tribute on their special day. The two of them included the cake stands that Morgan’s grandfather made for her parents’ wedding day, which was one amazing detail that we hope they never forget.

Morgan and Josh, we are so grateful to the two of you! We’re excited to see how you will continue to help others! You two are going to do great things for many people!
