Gabby & Brady
Sunflowers are often used as a symbol of loyalty and love. In an attempt to explain the phenomenon of a sunflower always following the sun, Greek mythology speaks of a nymph who loved Apollo so much that even when he turned her into a flower, she still watched him across the sky as he moved the sun in his chariot. Now, we’re sure that Brady would never turn Gabby into a flower, but we do know that these two have a relationship that a sunflower would well represent: love, loyalty, and adoration. Combining this with their love of nature made it fitting that this wildflower engagement session in the Utah mountains contained sunflowers and golden glowing sun. It seriously could not have been any more perfect for these two!
We truly believe that these two lucked out by working where they did at the right time. When they were younger, Brady would often go to the restaurant across the street from where he worked, which coincidentally, happened to be the same place that Gabby worked. Their bosses even saw how perfect they would be for each other, and they helped set up Gabby and Brady. They started dating, years passed, and they had two children together, which we can tell they both adore. After being together for close to 10 years, Brady proposed to Gabby on a houseboat in Lake Powell, completely surprising her, and of course, she said yes!
Brady and Gabby, thank you so much for the opportunity to take your photos in this wildflower engagement session in the Utah mountains! We are so excited for you two and your big day! We loved getting to know the both of you a little better, and know that your wedding day will be filled with love and joy. We hope that you enjoy your photos as much as we do!
