Dallin turned to take photos of Vanessa, the soon-to-be bride, as she started walking down the aisle toward her soon-to-be husband, Ben. The music playing as she walked was so familiar to him, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. After all, he was in “Photographer-Focused” mode. A lot of times what people say or the music being played in the background gets drowned out by Dallin’s hyper-focused state during the ceremony. But this time, the song was enough to almost pull Dallin out of his photographer mode. It was something that hit him to the core, but he was still focused enough that he couldn’t quite place what song it was. After the ceremony ended during their Wadley Farms castle spring wedding, Ben and Vanessa were signing their wedding license, and Dallin asked what song it was that Vanessa walked down the aisle to. Ben, Vanessa, and Jessie stared at Dallin for half a second before responding… it was “Across the Stars” the Anakin and Padme theme from Star Wars!

We’re both huge Star Wars fans and it embarrassed Dallin that he didn’t know what song it was immediately. However, this was such an awesome idea for Ben and Vanessa to add to their wedding! The two of them are also big fans of Star Wars, and it just made sense. It was also fitting that, for a night-time portrait we took a photo of them in front of Wadley Castle with the stars overhead. Ben and Vanessa’s reception ended with a dance party that could rival any dance party in the galaxy! Friends and family surrounded them and they did not want the night to end!

Ben and Vanessa, thank you for having us as your wedding photographers! We are so honored that you trusted us with your Wadley Farms spring wedding, which was arguably the biggest day of your lives together. We love you guys and hope to see you both again soon!!
