Utah Mountain and Construction Site Engagement

One of our favorite things is when couples make their wedding or portrait session special to them. From our first meeting with Ashley and Rich, they told us about how Rich worked in construction, and they had an idea to include that in their Utah mountain and construction site engagement session. How did we respond? HECK to the YES! This also made a lot of sense since both Ashley and Rich love what they do for work. Ashley is an ABA therapist at an elementary school, and loves helping others. Rich even teased Ashley about being a work-a-holic when they first met because she showed how passionate she is about her job.

According to Ashley and Rich, they are the perfect example of how opposites attract. They told us how they have different interests, for example, Ashley likes to read, Rich loves technology, and when shopping for their home they picked out completely different sheet colors! What matters, however, is that even though they have such different interests, they always want to be together and spend time with each other. Ashley told us that the moment she knew that she wanted to marry Rich was when they were in an argument, and instead of continuing to argue, she instead wanted to stop and work everything out. That showed her how much work she wanted to put into their relationship. We think that is a great sign of a growing and lasting relationship.

Ashley and Rich! We’re so excited for you both! It was so fun spending time getting to know you and hangout with you during your Utah mountain and construction site engagement session (and to discover the addiction of the song “Into the Thick of It”… which we cannot get out of our heads after listening to it!!) We can’t wait for your big day and to spend  more time with you both!
