Everyone that surrounded us during Isaac’s Make-A-Wish event and this Tremonton family pictures session had a heart of gold, just like those fallen leaves, including Isaac himself. There was so much anticipation and excitement in the air while we waited for Make-A-Wish to reveal Isaac’s wish while his friends and family gathered around.
We saw so many signs of fall as we walked through the tree lines and dirt trails of Peterson Park, scouting for the perfect location for family pictures. There were red and gold leaves scattered on the ground everywhere we looked. We stopped and paused for a minute to analyze the grove of trees that we had arrived at. As Jessie set down her equipment on the ground, she took a moment and noticed the fallen leaves in Peterson Park close up for the first time. Many of the gold leaves were in the shape of hearts. There couldn’t have been a more appropriate symbol for this Tremonton family pictures session and Utah Make-A-Wish Event.
Everyone that surrounded us during Isaac’s Make-A-Wish event had a heart of gold, just like those fallen leaves, including Isaac himself. There was so much anticipation and excitement in the air while we waited for Make-A-Wish to reveal Isaac’s wish while his friends and family gathered around. The Mickey Mouse balloon and a few other hints scattered around gave us a good idea of what his wish was, and we were so excited for Isaac and his family! When the poster, complete with an outline of Cinderella’s castle, was flipped around, it revealed to his friends and family that his wish was to go to Disney World, a.k.a. the GREATEST place on Earth!
After the reveal, family and friends were able to go pick out their favorite Disney character masks to wear and use for a big group picture! The infamous Mickey Mouse was reserved for Isaac, and it was so fun to see each of the kids and even adults go up to him to show him the mask that they had picked out! We saw Incredibles, the Aristocats, Snow White, pirates, Donald and Daisy Duck, and so many others! Isaac’s excitement really showed when he was able to talk and laugh with so many friends and family members that went up to greet him.
Large families are filled with so many different personalities, and we had a blast getting to know the Larson family during their Tremonton family pictures and Isaac’s Make-A-Wish event. Whether it was the talent of the kids “flossing” while standing on posts, or their bravery to hold a fuzzy caterpillar during their family pictures, we were honored to serve them on Isaac’s special day. We wanted to give a big thank you to Alex and Kirk for asking us to come and shoot their Tremonton family pictures and Isaac’s amazing Make-A-Wish event! We did Alex’s family pictures a year ago, and so it was fun to get Kirk’s side of the family this time!
[…] So many family and friends came to his declaration and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect on this fall day. There was an unbelievable spirit throughout the whole event and I’m so grateful for the Make-a-Wish foundation and what they have done for our family. I also have to give a huge shout out to Jessie and Dallin Photography for capturing the day so perfectly with their cameras. They even shared a sweet blog post about that day here. […]
