Curtis + Tiffany
When we were getting ready for Curtis and Tiffany’s Thanksgiving Point rainy spring formal session, the weather kept telling us just that, that it was going to rain. It was the only time that Curtis and Tiffany could do their formals, so we prepared for the elements the best we could and packed our umbrellas. We like to use clear ones and a black umbrella with a white color inside. These are our favorite kinds of umbrellas to use for creative photos!
Once we got to Thanksgiving Point, however… the weather updated… no rain. It was possibly the first time during a session that we were HOPING for rain. Photos in the rain not only require rain, but also an adventurous couple who is willing to get a little cold, and most likely a little wet. The tulips were in bloom, and we had plenty of photos of beautiful flowers, but… call us crazy… we all wanted the rain photos, and the rain just didn’t come!
So, by the end of their Thanksgiving Point rainy formal session (that wasn’t really rainy) we decided to look at the weather at the Utah State Capitol building. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the weather was showing a full-on rainstorm. Because of this, it was a race to get there! We made it just in time for the rain to finish and turn into a HUGE snowstorm. After wrapping our gear in plastic bags to keep them safe, we started photographing in the rain. I don’t think we regret it at all for taking a detour to the capitol building as well!
Curtis and Tiffany, thank you for being so adventurous with us so that we could get these amazing photos! We are so excited about what the future holds for both of you!
