Summer Wedding at Snowbird Summit

Some wedding days feel right from start to finish. Becca and Corey’s summer wedding at Snowbird Summit was one of those days.

They met back in 2018 while working at The North Face on a ski hut trip. So mountains have always been part of their story. Corey proposed while they were traveling through northern Vietnam, after four days of exploring by motorbike. They parked, hiked up to a viewpoint, and as the sun set, he asked her to marry him.

They’ve adventured through Patagonia together, built a life rooted in experience, and it only made sense to say their vows high in the Wasatch mountains of Utah.

A Perfect Summer Day in the Mountains

Snowbird in the summer is unreal. Wildflowers, crisp air, and layered mountain peaks in every direction! Being up at that elevation makes everything feel bigger, especially when you can look west and see the Salt Lake Valley below. The weather was perfect, and the sunset was out of this world! The golden light poured over the peaks and lit the most beautiful moments between the two of them. It was one of those glows you don’t forget!

The Moments That Mattered Most

They shared private vows during their first look, which gave them the chance to slow down before the celebration began. There were tears, laughs, and deep breaths shared between the two of them. Becca wrapped her grandmother’s necklace around her bouquet, carrying her with her throughout the day.

Family and friends traveled from all over the country to be at Snowbird with Becca and Corey. During the ceremony, laughs and tears were shared between the two of them and spotted throughout the crowd. They smashed the glass right before their kiss, and later in the night, they kicked things off with the hora dance and danced the night away with their family and friends. During the reception, they snuck away for 5 minutes to capture a photo beneath the stars! When your wedding is in such a remote location, you’d be crazy not to take advantage of the night sky!

Becca and Corey are two of the kindest humans. They welcomed everyone with open arms, stayed present all day, and soaked it in. Mountain weddings just hit differently and this one was one to remember!
