Summer Mountain Engagement

Planning is something that the two of us have very different opinions about. When we are getting ready for a trip, the least favorite part of it for Dallin is the planning portion. Thank goodness for Jessie, who loves to plan, in fact, it’s one of her favorite parts of going on a trip. When it comes to planning for a wedding, it is essential in order to have a wedding day run smoothly and make sure that you get the important things in your special day that you’ve always dreamed of. Tana and Dawn are definitely planners. They’ve been planning and preparing for their wedding day for at least a year. Since we first met these two, we’ve planned on having a summer mountain engagement session with them. It could not have been planned any better. The flowers, the green grass and trees, and the snow capped mountains all combined for a perfect environment for these two.

Something that we can never really plan is the interaction the couple we are photographing has with each other. There are things we do to help natural interactions come out, but really that part is on the couple. When it came to Tana and Dawn, they could not stop giggling! We quickly named their adorable giggles “The Tana and Dawn” and it was always the exact reaction that we wanted for each photo. Even after being together for 8 years, they still constantly giggle at each other! This alone tells us that their wedding will be perfect, because even though they’ve planned as much as they possibly could for their day, we know that above all, it will be about them.

Tana and Dawn, thank you for letting us serve you and entrusting us with your engagement photos. We are so excited for your wedding day! You two are always so happy together (there’s a reason why it’s called “The Tana and Dawn!”) and we hope you love your photos from your summer mountain engagement session!
