Madeline & Kevin
The grass was clean cut. The stringed lights glowed over the guest tables. The weather? Perfect. A few guests even had Martinelli sparkling cider in champagne glasses to make toasts. While this setting was ideal for an elegant outdoor wedding reception in Layton, there was also another element to this spring Provo City Center Temple wedding day: FUN.
You can always tell how close a family is when you can see how they interact with each other. Every moment with Madeline and Kevin during their big day was filled with laughs from all involved. From the “High School Musical” jump or the “double chin like grandpa used to do” poses to the dance moves on the reception dance floor, it was plain to see that Madeline and Kevin share a bond with their families and cherish the time they spend with them.
Another aspect that made the reception so wonderful? Churros. Really these are our favorite. Whenever we go to Disneyland, they are the one food item that we must get. Even though these weren’t from Disneyland, they were served with ice cream and multiple toppings, and how can you EVER go wrong with that?
One of our favorite moments was when Madeline wanted to use her muscles to throw the bouquet as high as possible. There was a little misdirection of the angle, however, and the bouquet bee-lined to the unexpecting bachelorettes and landed in an explosion of flowers!
The dancing after the reception was “officially” over was also something to behold! Everyone joined in, and we heard that they had even practiced beforehand to make sure they had some legit dance moves, and man did it show! Jessie was also brave enough to be in the middle of the action to get some great shots to prove that these guys have skills!
Madeline and Kevin, we love you guys! Thank you for letting us capture your wedding day! We don’t think that a spring Provo City Center Temple wedding could be any more perfect! We hope that these photos will bring fond memories for years and even generations to come.
