Snowbasin Resort Winter Wedding

The cool winter air brought shivers and goosebumps to Sarah’s arms as she stood anxiously waiting for Libo to turn around and see her for the first time in her wedding dress. As he turned, they both had the sweetest reactions and smiles followed by a gigantic hug. The Snowbasin Resort winter wedding they had been planning for the past year was finally here and they couldn’t wait to celebrate with each other and their friends and family!

Incorporated into their day were Scottish scarves and shawls with thistle brooches. These were the best gifts for their wedding party and kept them warm(er) as we rushed to take the prettiest photos out in the snow. You could tell how much their friends and family meant to Sarah and Libo by the fun they had throughout the night. We love seeing couples connect with the people most important to them, and the moments that follow.

The Ceremony

Sarah and Libo’s ceremony was on top of the mountain at the Needles Lodge. As we prepared for the ceremony to begin we noticed how quickly the clouds were moving from our vantage point. When you are lower in elevation and further away from the sky, the clouds seem to move slowly throughout an average day, but atop a mountain it is mesmerizing. As their ceremony began, a gorgeous pink hue filled the sky and put on an extra show!

Dancing the Night Away

One of the most memorable moments of their day came during as they began their first dance at Earl’s Lodge. We’ve seen a lot of first dances, but these two might have the top spot now. Libo put literally put on his dancing shoes, and man, did they dance! It was so fun to watch their friends and family as they cheered and reacted to the twirls and fancy footwork from Sarah and Libo. Dancing filled the rest of their night until their sendoff. For their exit, their friends and family waved lit-up ribbon wands. It created some awesome effects in the photos and is a great choice when you are looking for ideas for your sendoff.

Congrats to you both, Sarah and Libo! We had the best year getting to know you and adventuring with you throughout Utah and during your Snowbasin Resort winter wedding! We can’t wait to see all of the good you do in the world!
