A VERY tall man walked towards us in a hoodie. He kind of swayed back and forth as he walked, it was familiar to both of us… was this Rudy Gobert?! We instantly stopped shooting with our cameras and stared… nope. Not him. Crazy though… It looked just like him! We were downtown for this Salt Lake engagement session after all, but for us to see him would have been a cherry on top this day. Because EVERYTHING else today was perfect for taking pictures with Breanna and Devin.

Breanna and Devin have been dating for about a year now, even though they have known each other for the past three years and work together at a pharmacy. How cute would that be to work with your fiancé? Devin popped the question while on a four-wheeler trip with Breanna’s family up Logan Canyon. We could definitely tell that these two are perfect for each other. We think that their engagement session conveyed that as well.
During this Salt Lake engagement session, the light had a wonderful glow, and these two were dressed to kill! Even to their shoes! The only thing that could have made it better (besides seeing Rudy Gobert, of course) would have been to have had the temperature warm up about 15 or 20 degrees, because, man was it cold! These two were absolute troopers though, and through the shivers they continued to agree to whatever we had planned for the day. Breanna’s optimism showed through when she said “well, at least it’s not snowing!” It’s true too, because originally, we were going to do pictures on a day that turned out to be an absolute blizzard and decided to reschedule. It was a conflict between finishing up pictures to allow them to get warm or continuing to shoot during the amazing light. We’re so happy that these two were willing to be dragged around in the cold. We think that we made the right decision and kept shooting, because these pictures turned out perfect.
Breanna and Devin, thank you for being so awesome and enduring the cold. We know that you won’t regret it after seeing these pictures! We’re so excited to do your formal session in a month, as well as your wedding!
