Millennial Falls and Oquirrh Mountain Temple Wedding

Jessica and Darren have a pretty interesting story about how they met! The two of them both had a few good friends in common, but somehow, even though they hung out with these friends often, Jessica and Darren had never met. The two of them knew of each other, but didn’t meet until their friends decided to set them up with each other. For their blind date, Darren came up with five options for Jessica to choose from, and every single one of them sounded perfect. They decided to go get Jamba Juices and then shared a walk around Daybreak Lake. Since it is so close in distance to where they would have their Millennial Falls and Oquirrh Mountain Temple wedding, it only seemed natural to also have part of their formals be around Daybreak Lake to give a nod to where they first met.

Before their wedding day, Jessica and Darren told us how important family was to them. This was a big theme during their wedding. One of the highlights was seeing how much Jessica’s grandpa is loved by not only herself, but other family members too. It was such a special moment anytime someone was able to dance with her grandpa, but especially was when Jessica got the chance. Jessica was really close to her grandma and would do everything with her and her mom. When Jessica’s grandma passed away, she instantly became closer to her grandpa. In fact, she told us that he may have been the most excited person to tell the world that Jessica was getting married!

The night ended with a fantastic bubble and sparkler exit while Jessica and Darren ran between family members lined up to cheer well wishes to them both. Running always makes these types of exits fun, and these two took full advantage of the moment!
