Kristin & Chase
Even though soccer is the most popular sport in the world, it’s not quite the most common professional sport in the United States. Here in Utah, however, you can see soccer games going on almost any given day in the summer. Lucky for Kristin and Chase, they are both play this sport, and were both playing soccer in the right place and at the right time so that they could meet each other. We’re not sure if they played on the same team or not, but either way, they hit it off and began dating. Chase even used a sort of “game” to propose to Kristin. He set up a scavenger hunt in Provo which sent her to locations that had meaning to them and left clues to the next place. Eventually, the hunt led to Kristin’s grandmother’s house, where there were mason jars with photos of them inside and a rose petal path which led to Chase for him to propose. Even though no soccer balls were involved during their Kaysville Botanical Garden engagement session at the USU Botanical Center, we still had a ton of fun!
We loved going to the Botanical Gardens in Kaysville with Kristin and Chase! Even though we had to shoot between active fisherman at times, who were always so kind to make sure they weren’t in OUR way (when in all reality, we were making sure that we were not in THEIR way!) It was a perfect spot for flowers this late in the year, and we couldn’t believe how much glow from the sun glistened on the lake. It’s going to be one of our favorite spots to shoot for years to come.
Kristin and Chase, we are so excited for your formal session and wedding coming up so very soon! We are excited to get to know you more, and hope that you enjoy your photos from your Kaysville Botanical Garden engagement session!
