It was a brisk day in downtown Salt Lake City. The leaves on the trees were long gone, leaving behind bare branches and patchy grass. The bright, modern cityscape would be perfect for this cold weather Salt Lake senior session. Samy made a great choice when she decided that she wanted to have her senior session in the city.

Everyone probably remembers their senior year differently. The decisions that you have to make can determine the direction that you take for the rest of your life. Most will remember feeling so ready to be done with school, and the excitement of going somewhere new the next fall. Senioritis is the real deal! We remember senior year being one of the easier years in high school credit wise, but also one of the busiest because of college applications and planning. It’s also difficult because friendships that you’ve known all your life will be changing. Samy and Jessie’s sister Cassie (click to see her senior session) have known each other for years and next year they will each be going to different places.
Samy’s senior year has been full of tough classes like anatomy class. I think everyone can relate to having a pull your hair out kind of class like anatomy! She’s also had some awesome classes this year at Evanston High School. Her favorite was her child development class that allowed her to work at her local child care center.
As we strolled the streets of Salt Lake for Samy’s Salt Lake senior session we chatted with Samy and her mom. Samy told us that she plans to go to Western Wyoming Community College next year to study business. We are sure that Samy will have tons of success with whatever she tries! We’re so excited for you Samy! College was one of our favorite experiences!
