Kat & Chris
If we were to use one word to describe Kat and Chris’s Cactus and Tropicals and Salt Lake City church wedding, it would be this: fun. In fact we don’t really remember a moment when at least one of the two of them weren’t smiling! We aren’t sure if it was because of the anticipation that was in the air after their long wait to get married due to Covid, but we can bet that it had something to do with their incredible love for each other!
One of our favorite moments during Kat and Chris’s wedding day was the moment the two of them saw each other as Kat was walking down the aisle. Many times, traditionally, wedding photographers are told to look for the reaction of the groom when he sees his wife for the first time on their wedding day. What stuck out to us, however, was the beaming smile on Kat’s face when she turned the corner to walk down the aisle and saw Chris! We don’t know if we’ve ever seen a bride with that big of a smile walking down the aisle.
Another moment that stuck out to us was when Kat and Chris were sitting next to each other, waiting for everyone to take communion. As we watched, Kat and Chris sat and held hands, quietly laughing and smiling with each other, completely immersed in their own moment.
During the toasts, the maid of honor mentioned that Kat and Chris must love each other, because Chris is allergic to cats, and he married one! 🙂Â
The two of them danced the night away with their friends and family, which included some pretty epic dance moves, as well as an awesome impromptu singing of the Spanish version of an NSYNC song that Chris and his friends learned in Spanish class. All in all, this Cactus and Tropicals and Salt Lake City church wedding was the pure definition of love and fun!
Kat and Chris! Man do we love you two! We’re so happy that we’ve been able to meet you guys and hang out with you during your wedding day. We are so excited to continue our friendship and are excited for your future together!
