Our Life as Utah Wedding Photographers
Welp, another year has come and gone! 2021 was a year we don’t think we’ll ever forget! Between weddings and wedding celebrations that were not technically “weddings” since the couples were married in small ceremonies due to Covid-19, to destination weddings in Montana and Glacier National Park, and the many out-of-state weddings that came to Utah, it was pretty unforgettable. When we first started this business years ago, it was meant to be a fun way to connect with each other a little more as a couple and to do something we loved. Wedding photography has been unexpectedly more than that for us. More than ever, we’ve found that the couples we work with really are the reason why we continue to push ourselves to grow. To show you just what we mean, take a look behind the scenes with Jessie and Dallin in 2021.
One thing that we started this year was hosting cooking class date nights. Multiple couples from weddings we did in the past came and reconnected with us. Julia at Spoon and Spatula made these dates an absolute blast, and gave some simple, but new tips to make cooking at home easier than ever before.
We are excited to expand on this in the coming years, as Covid dissipates, with all our JD couples! Although many live out of state, we’re thinking up some activities we can do so we can catch up on everything in our friends lives and have a lot of fun in the meantime. If you’re reading this and are one of our past couples, let us know when we can hang out with you again!
These photos from a look behind the scenes with Jessie and Dallin in 2021 blog post brought a smile to our faces, and we hope that they do the same for you! Cheers to a great 2022!!
