Utah Fall Engagement Session in a Golden Field

A light breeze blew through the grassy golden field in northern Utah as Dallin turned to Jessie and said, “Jessie, I can’t put my camera down.” Aubrinn and Koleman’s contagious laughter had us rolling and smiling from ear to ear. That pure, true joy allowed us the opportunity to focus on the raw love and emotion between the two of them. Because of that, the best word we can think of to describe what you will see in this Utah fall engagement session is “genuine”.

Aubrinn and Koleman have known each other since their days together in their high school seminary class. Koleman was a junior at the time, while Aubrinn was a year younger. At the time, they didn’t date or even hang out in the same social circles. Fast forward a few years, and as chance would have it, the two of them matched on a dating app. Through a “mutual friend” if you prefer ;). Call it fate, or just luck, but one day when Koleman found himself in a situation where he needed to find a last minute date to go Razor riding and bowling, the first person he thought to ask was Aubrinn, who by chance was available that night. In this case, “last minute” meant 5 hours before the date was supposed to start! The two of them had dated other people before this experience, but Aubrinn said that this was the best date that she had ever been on!

You might wonder, why did Koleman think of Aubrinn first, before anyone else? He said it was because he remembered from their seminary class together in high school that she was genuinely happy and that she was always comfortable being herself. Today she allows him to be himself and continually encourages him to be a better person.

While we were at Koleman and Aubrinn’s Utah fall engagement session the genuine smile that Koleman loves so much about Aubrinn shined. Genuine. That word describes these two so much better than we could ever do in a blog post. Aubrinn and Koleman, we’re so lucky to count you two as friends and we cannot wait to share your photos with you!
