Megan & Tyler
Quiet and small scampering sounds on the sidewalk could be heard as Megan and Tyler’s family surrounded the both of them with their cameras to film this moment. They had already had their “first look”, however, there was one more member of their soon to be family that needed to be introduced to Tyler during their Oquirrh Mountain temple winter formal session. The sounds of small footsteps from before were now accompanied with whimpers before Megan finally told Tyler to turn around so that he could see his early Christmas present dressed in a small tuxedo: Megan and Tyler’s new dog, Miles.
This was no easy feat for Megan to keep this secret from Tyler. Tyler has been living a little ways away from Megan, so she has been taking care of Miles at her home. Sometimes, she would have to hurry and clean up dog toys or hair to hide the evidence from Tyler during a surprise visit. Thankfully, she thought of the perfect time (their formal session) to introduce their new family member to Tyler to avoid any ruining of the surprise.
Another unexpected surprise that came to Tyler, that wasn’t as pleasant, occurred months ago when he decided to propose to Megan. Tyler had the perfect plan: go to their favorite place, Tony Grove, and propose. Due to the snow and cold this last Spring, Tony grove was still full of DEEP snow, making it impossible to execute his plan. After suggesting to go to Bear Lake for shakes, Megan was starting to catch on to what was happening, and during their drive she told Tyler, “this is my favorite scenic overlook…” hinting that it would be a good backup for him to propose at. After getting shakes, Tyler stopped at the overlook, and proposed. Thankfully, we were able to do their engagements at Tony Grove this last summer so that they could have photos of them in their favorite spot!
Megan and Tyler, we are so excited for your big day! Thank you for hanging out with us during your Oquirrh Mountain Temple winter formal session, and we hope that you are loving every moment with Miles! We feel so lucky that we were able to meet him with his dapper tuxedo. We hope you love these photos as much as we do!
