Kristen & Chase
A horn “BLARED” from the car, which brought a response of laughter, high fives, and clapping all around. This wasn’t just some normal car horn going off. This was a booby trap set for Chase and his now wife, Kristin, to send well wishes at the end of the night when Chase adjusted his seat to hit an air horn. After a night full of dancing and celebration, it was the perfect way for the group to send off their newly married friends following Kristin and Chase’s Bountiful Temple wedding and Oak Hills Reception!
When Kristin was younger, she was asked which boy she had a crush on, to which she replied simply “Jesus”. Kristin obviously had pretty high standards when it came to boys. Another time, she listed everything off that her future husband needed to have before she would marry him, including a love for soccer and high moral standards and similar religious beliefs to herself. As lofty as the characteristics may have seemed back then, Chase checked off every single box Kristin created on this list, and more.
When he was younger, Chase was asked if he had the choice between rescuing his mother or his future wife. His answer at the time was that he would choose to rescue his mother. He of course was many years away from marriage at that time, and didn’t know how amazing his wife would be. Being with these two for only a few short days, we could tell that Kristin and Chase are truly meant for each other. If we could learn one lesson from their story, it’s to not be afraid to have high standards of what you want in a spouse, one day you will find that person.
Kristin and Chase, we love you guys! Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your big day. We are so excited for you to see these photos from your Bountiful Temple wedding and Oak Hills Reception! Always remember how lucky and blessed you both are to have each other, and you will have a wonderful life together.
