Ashley & Ryan
“I don’t like my books and shows to end in with a cliff hanger.” These words were apart of the wedding vows read by Ryan almost a year ago on a beach in Aruba, and were repeated a year later during dinner at the Grand America Hotel to honor Ryan and Ashley’s sealing at the Salt Lake Temple.
To understand why these words were spoken, think back to a time when you were watching a movie, TV show, or reading a book that you were really into. Imagine reaching the end of that book or show and it ending in a huge cliff hanger. One so unexpected and out of nowhere that it made you verbally gasp. Now imagine learning that there will be no more books or shows to complete and resolve the story. This is how Ryan felt after his first wife passed away, and we would guess Ashley felt similarly after her husband passed away after being married to him for only a short time.
You can call it fate or divine intervention, but Ryan and Ashley found each other, almost feeling like their late spouses had set them up on a date. For them it was truly as if “two broken hearts had become one.” After one secret wedding in their home and another formal one on a beach in Aruba, a year later, Ryan and Ashley made things forever with their sealing at the Salt Lake Temple and Grand America.
Ryan, Ashley, and their family are some of the kindest people we have met. We have taken family and engagement photos for them multiple times over the past year, and we have developed such a love for all of them. This day was perfect for all of them, and they deserved it!
Ryan and Ashley! We love you guys! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of the happiness and the laughs (we’ll never forget that parallel parking experience!) that were shared on this special day. We know that you will continue to have an amazing marriage (of 40+ years together!), and are we’re so happy that you can now continue that life on for eternity!

A huge thank you and shout-out to these amazing vendors!
