Schuyler & Dallin
Hedgehog quills, Harry Potter, and blossoms may seem like the strangest combination, but after hanging out for a bit with Dallin and Schuyler we can’t think of a more perfect grouping! The air had a bit of a chill to it during this spring blossom engagement at the Utah State Capitol, but with these two it was hardly noticeable. The two of them looked incredible down to the very shoes that they will be wearing on their wedding day!
Schuyler and Dallin met each other while they were in the same ward at BYU. These two have so much in common and have one of the cutest stories! Before they went on their first date they both went to a Halloween party and without knowing it, found out that they had each dressed up as one of the characters from Fantastic Beasts. Dallin had dressed up as Newt and Schuyler as Tina (they looked legit too!) They quickly became the perfect pair! This Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw and Gryffindor’s similarities don’t stop there! Dallin took Schuyler to Barnes and Noble for their first date, only to find out more about her love for books and that Barnes and Noble was her dream date location! These two even had Psych themed birthday parties when they were 16. What are the chances of that?! When Dallin proposed, he used gigantic cutouts of some of Schuyler’s favorite books, so when we had the chance to incorporate reading into their engagement session we knew we had to!
Dallin and Schuyler were so much fun to work with during their spring blossom engagement at the Utah State Capitol, but the real star of the session was Wilbur! Wilbur kept mostly to himself during the session because of the cool weather, but we have never met a cuter hedgehog in all our lives! Schuyler adopted Wilbur and brought him into her life a little less than a year ago. He was the runt of the litter and named after Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web. This prickly little guy was seriously the cutest!
Schuyler and Dallin it was so much fun to officially meet the two of you AND Wilbur! You three and your story have captured our hearts! We can’t wait to hang out again soon for your formal session!
