You know when something happens and it seems like the stars must have aligned perfectly for that thing to happen? You know, like when you go through a day and everything just seems to go just as planned? That’s what happened during this Salt Lake photography session. This week was filled with snow and cold pretty much every single day just like a normal Utah “spring”. This day, however, was PERFECT for doing pictures for Mandy, Andrew, and their family.
It warmed up just enough that their little baby wasn’t freezing during the session, and the cloudy weather was perfect for the location and pictures that we wanted to get.
This Salt Lake photography session was with Mandy, Andrew, and their two kids, Addie and Harrison. Mandy and Jessie go WAY back! It’s been 10 years since they graduated high school together. Years ago they spent time working at Papa Murphy’s together making pizzas. A bond like that can’t be easily broken! 🙂 It has been over three years since we’ve seen these guys which, ironically, was the last time we did pictures with them. It was a great time to be able to catch up with Mandy and her family.
The break in the weather this week couldn’t have been timed any more perfect. They were on a visit to Wyoming for the baby blessing of their new baby, Harrison, and only had one weekend to do their family pictures. They must have helped an old lady cross the street recently to have this kind of luck. We were blessed with perfect weather for this and no rain or snow so that we could do their pictures.
Even though Addie is a few years older than she was the last time we took pictures of these guys, her attitude towards taking pictures hasn’t changed one bit! She was always excited to give us an “Addie”-tude look at the camera and look like a model. It was so fun to have a little kid so excited to take pictures. We hope in a few years that Harrison will be the same way! We don’t doubt that he will be, because he was such a trooper and gave us a couple smirks that were incredibly cute.
Mandy and Andrew, thank you for supporting us in the past to help us get our business going, and for allowing us to do your pictures once again! We hope the best for you guys and your little family!
