Big Cottonwood Winter Engagement Session

Hot chocolate? Check! Blanket? Check! Adorable couple? CHECK! Often, couples shy away from winter engagement sessions and opt for something based in the spring or summer. However, if you want unique photos that you can do a lot of fun theming with, you may want to look at this Big Cottonwood Canyon winter engagement session with Curtis and Tiffany for some inspiration. Sometimes a winter session may require a bit of an adventurous spirit, but Big Cottonwood Canyon is full of evergreen trees and is not too difficult to get to. This makes it an easy choice for a place to do a winter or even early spring engagement or formal session.

These two decided to go ALL out on this session to make it a winter picnic theme! We felt like we were following them on a date for the entire session! This made for some very cute and genuine laughs and expressions. Even to the point where they made sure they got some whipped cream on their noses from their hot chocolate!

Engagement Session Tip!

Curtis and Tiffany did have a chance to mix it a little by changing their clothes into more formal wear. Because of this, we were able to travel down the canyon to add rocky cliffs to their Big Cottonwood Canyon winter engagement session. We always recommend booking the extra time for an engagement session so that you can have two locations during your session. Not only does this give you more photos, but it allows you to mix it up a little and have a change of clothes for a different look.
