Sou & Shah
Two people from different backgrounds, different countries even, meet in an unlikely place halfway around the world. Sou and Shah were born and raised in Morocco, and Bangladesh. They both were really excited this last year during the World Cup in Qatar when Morocco was one of the “underdog” teams that got way further in the tournament than anyone expected! We were rooting for the Moroccan team the entire tournament and hoped that they would go all of the way! Unfortunately, they didn’t, but it was fun to watch the Morocco national team as well as watch Sou and Shah also follow them. Both Sou and Shah are university professors and their shared careers and interests are what initially brought them together. Their professions brought them to Utah, where they decided they wanted to tie the knot before having their official weddings in their home countries with family and friends. The Utah mountains, Salt Lake cityscape, and breathtaking sunset set the scene for their Moroccan-inspired Utah State Capitol sunset wedding session.
During their session, Sou changed into a traditional Moroccan wedding gown. Complete with a tiara, matching necklace, and earrings, she looked incredible! Any time our couples make their session personal to them, it turns out beautifully. The connection between these two shined, and the color of the skies during sunset paired perfectly during their Moroccan-inspired Utah State Capitol sunset wedding session. Utah has some of the best sunsets in the world, especially during the summer months. There are few places that can compare!
Sou and Shah, thanks for hanging out with us and letting us take your engagement and formal photos! We loved getting to know you and hope the best for you both with your future together!
