Davis County Fall Engagement | Utah Engagement Photographer

Albert Einstein once said: “If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.” For Rachel and Nathan, this may or may not be true to them, but if it weren’t for music and theatre, they never would have met while they both were in Pirates of Penzanse. If they hadn’t met during this opera, we probably would not have had the chance to do this Davis County fall engagement shoot with them.

You could call this a stroke of luck that we were able to meet for this session when we did. Even though the trees had almost given up on all of their leaves, the grass had turned a nice glowing shade of cream. Although some may think that this means that the grass is “dead”, it’s a photographer’s paradise for lighting. This time period only lasts for a couple of days before it all changes and we can no longer capture these colors, so because of that, we call it luck.

The cherry on top for this Davis County fall engagement session was Rachel and Nathan. We can do all we can to get someone in great lighting, but there is more to a picture than that. We don’t think that their genuine smiles came from their experience as actors. Instead, we believe that the laughter and the happiness that they showed was from true and pure love. We do everything we can to show the love that two people have for each other, but when it comes so naturally, it’s so easy to capture, which was the case with these two!

Rachel and Nathan, are so glad we were able to do your engagement shoot!  You have no idea how excited we are for December.  You two are truly meant for each other.  We are positive that anyone can look at the both of you and see that!  Keep smiling and keep loving!
