Salt Lake Temple & The Grand View | Utah Bride and Groom Feature

Marissa and Tory have known each other for years and they chose to celebrate with their wedding in the Salt Lake Temple and The Grand View on a gorgeous day (seriously, just look at the clouds in these pictures!). When Tory, oh so romantically asked Marissa to marry him he was supported by so many friends and family members. He popped the question by surprising Marissa as they went up Ogden Canyon one evening for what she thought was a bonfire. He made sure that the timing was right and had a path lit by lanterns and rose petals (see told you it was romantic!).

Marissa works at 4 Sisters Floral and she made all of the flower arrangements and bouquets for her wedding. Can you believe it? I’m always impressed when people have talents like that! I’m still learning names of different flowers! Marissa is super talented though, these bouquets were stunning! If you look at the picture of her bouquet surrounded by her bridesmaid’s they make a perfect match! WOW!

So much effort and work was put into all of the details from there day at the Salt Lake Temple and The Grand View, and you could tell that there were so many friends and family that put in a lot of extra time. Marissa’s maid of honor, Melissa was the best maid of honor we’ve ever seen! She was there to straighten out Marissa’s dress and also to feed Marissa food while she stood in her receiving line! On top of all that she along with Marissa and Tory’s friends and family put a lot of effort into decorating their getaway car!

These two are perfect for each other and we loved being able to spend the day with them at the Salt Lake Temple and The Grand View in Ogden for their wedding reception that night. We can’t wait to see all of the great things they have in store for their future!
