Winter Formals at the Utah State Capitol | Utah Wedding Photographers

Chivalry tends to bring many images into our heads when we hear it. Images of a knight in shining armor ready to defeat an angry dragon attacking a town of women and children. In modern times, maybe it is someone literary taking the coat off of their back to give to someone they care about.  As Nathan reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief for Rachel, and as he held her bouquet for her at times during these winter formals at the Utah State Capitol, we realized that we were seeing a perfect image of modern chivalry. Not only was Nathan willing to do anything he could for his soon to be wife, he was prepared so that he could help her with anything that she needed.

Utah Family Christmas Photoshoot | Oak Hills Reception and Event Center

The Moyes family are some of the kindest people that we have ever met, and they are a total blast to shoot with! If you need any proof of that, just see all the adorable props that they brought to their shoot! The Rudolph noses, reindeer antlers, and hot chocolate mugs were the perfect addition to make their session special. Even though the weather was cold, we all warmed up quickly from all the laughs and fun we had!

Family Christmas Session at the 5th Floor | Ogden Photographers

This was the second time that we’ve done a shoot with Sydney and Jevon. After looking back, we realized that we had done their pictures last time on Veteran’s Day, and this session was also on Veteran’s Day! It’s very fitting since Jevon is an airman with the Air Force. This time, we were able to include their adorable little son for a family Christmas session at the 5th floor in Ogden. We couldn’t get enough of this little kid! He didn’t fuss one bit, and then we noticed that his eyes were getting… very… heavy.

Davis County Fall Engagement | Utah Engagement Photographer

You could call this a stroke of luck that we were able to meet for this session when we did. Even though the trees had almost given up on all of their leaves, the grass had turned a nice glowing shade of cream. Although some may think that this means that the grass is “dead”, it’s a photographer’s paradise for lighting. This time period only lasts for a couple of days before it all changes and we can no longer capture these colors, so because of that, we call it luck.

Tremonton Family Pictures and Utah Make-A-Wish Event | Peterson Park

Everyone that surrounded us during Isaac’s Make-A-Wish event and this Tremonton family pictures session had a heart of gold, just like those fallen leaves, including Isaac himself. There was so much anticipation and excitement in the air while we waited for Make-A-Wish to reveal Isaac’s wish while his friends and family gathered around.

Fall Family Pictures in the Mountains | Snowbasin, Utah

We loved shooting with this fun family. They all were such troopers during this session, even though it was so cold and they needed to wrap up in blankets in between shots. In fact, it had just snowed two days before the shoot, which we thought was going to be a bad thing. However, it made the pictures even more majestic with the snow-capped mountains in the backdrop of some of the pictures. We were so glad that we were able to do this shoot before the snow and cold really settled it!

Fall Family Photo Session at Snowbasin | Utah Family

Over the years, Amelia and her family have trusted us with their family pictures.  Even back when we didn’t have fancy equipment or much experience, they entrusted us with capturing their moments.  We’ve come a long way since then, and we had a total blast during this fall family photo session at Snowbasin! We always appreciate those that trust us as their photographers over and over.
